His House Ministries began as a small home group and quickly outgrew its location.  In 2000 the present building, known as The Hangar, was purchased.  The back building includes a youth center that houses the children's and teen areas.  Church offices and the Chat Room are located on the East side.  The main kitchen, dining hall and classrooms in the main building area on the East side.  The infant and toddlers rooms, the sanctuary, and upstairs/lower classrooms are in the main building area on the West side.  A new mother's room is now available which includes an area for nursing mothers, and is located across from the main kitchen.

Our desire is that you will connect with us and make new friends here at The House.  Most importantly, our desire is that you can connect with God and experience His love, joy and peace.

In our worship you will see
  - demonstrative praise and intimate worship
  - the bringing of our tithes and offerings to the altar in an active act of worship
  - a message that is relevant
  - a loving, compassionate and relational environment that focuses on prayer and ministry to those who are hurting
  - 1 Corinthians 12:7 "To each one is given a manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."

People frequently ask us, Why do you have a fourth cross on your logo?   Glad you asked.  Jesus said in Luke 9:23 – 25, “ If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me.....whoever loses his life for my sake, he is the one who will find it, for what profit is there if a man gains the whole world and loses his soul...

As Jesus was carrying the cross up to Calvary’s hill, the place where he would be crucified for the sins of the whole world,  he fell beneath the weight.   Simon the Cyrenian was randomly chosen from the crowd to carry the cross of Jesus the rest of the way.  Wouldn’t you have loved to share the honor of Simon, to alleviate some of Jesus’ pain, and carry the cross for Him.

Well, you can.  Our fourth cross reminds us to respond to His sacrifice of love for us, by sacrificing our lives as a living sacrifice for Him (Rom. 12:1).  We live our lives as an instrument of worship and service to Him.

Hebrews 12:1-2  Tells us that Jesus considered it a joy to endure the cross for us, so we can respond to His sacrifice by running the race of life for Him.  We trade our life for His.  We are told to take up the cross daily.  We do this by denying our self centeredness and selfishness, to daily put Him first and live for Him.   He bought and redeemed our lives with the price of His own blood, so we belong to Him.  Furthermore, the only way to have a blessed life is to follow His will for our lives because He knows what is best for us, and wants us to have abundant life.  1 John 5:11 God has given to us eternal life and this LIFE IS IN HIS SON.  We can live our lives according to our own way, but the only way to abundant life, joy, love, peace and contentment is to live for Him.

The Trinity
We believe that there is one God, and that He is eternally existent in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

The Father- God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things, and created the universe in love to respond to Him.  He created man in His own image for fellowship.

The Son- Jesus Christ is eternally God.  He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were created.  Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the Cross for humankind and, thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood.  He rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit- The Holy Spirit was given to the church in fullness at Pentecost.  He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature, and conforms us to the image of Christ.  The baptism of the Holy Spirit releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Bible
We believe that the Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments is, in its original writing, the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God.  The authority of the Scriptures is ultimate, final and eternal.

Satan and Demonic Hosts
We believe that Satan, originally an angel, rebelled against God, taking a host of angels with him.  He was cast out of God's presence and established a kingdom of darkness and evil on the earth which he rules as "prince of this world".

We believe humanity was created good and upright, but by temptation of Satan, fell from grace and brought sin upon mankind.  Humanity's only hope for redemption from sin is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We believe salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the death and physical resurrection of His Son, and is appropriated by faith.  Repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification), and acceptance of Him as Lord and Savior of our lives (regeneration) effect salvation.  Salvation is a gift from God, not the result of our good works or of any human effort. Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ.  This act allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit.  We receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation through repentance.

The Christian Life
We believe that Christians put their trust in what Christ accomplished through the work of the Cross.  The Christian life is filled with power and victory as well as trials and tests and spiritual warfare against Satan and the demonic hosts.  The promises of eternal blessing in the presence of God are assured to those who abide in Christ until their death or His return.  To remain faithful through all circumstances of life requires dependence upon the Holy Spirit and a willingness to die to personal desires and passions.

The Church- The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.  All who repent and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior form the body of Christ.  He is the head and we are the members.

Sanctification- Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to the Word of God and His Holy Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ's character in us.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit- Given initially at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus after His Ascension to empower the church.  The baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to any believer who earnestly desires it.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit- The Holy Spirit is manifested in the believer in a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the Resurrection, and preach the gospel throughout the entire earth.  All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives.

Water Baptism- Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Baptism is a tangible expression of what takes place in the heart.  It identifies one as a follower of Christ.

Communion- The Lord's Supper is a unique time of communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and juice (the body and blood of Jesus) are partaken of in remembrance of all the benefits provided to us by His death on the cross.

Provision- The will of the Father is that believers become whole, healthy and successful in all areas of life.  His provision encompasses spirituality, mental and emotional well-being, physical health and financial blessing.  All believers are to seek the full benefits of His provision in order to serve others.

Heaven- Heaven is the dwelling place and throne of the Father.  It is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in Jesus Christ.

End Time and Second Coming
We believe that a short but intense period of suffering and distress will mark the end of time.  Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom and bring about the final defeat of Satan and the demonic host.  This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures.
